Skybridge Americas is looking for a full-time IT Technician.  The role is responsible for Skybridge America's computer workstation infrastructure.  

This includes Computer Deployments, Repairing, Reconfiguration, Workstation Inventory and Workstation MAC.  This position will assist with new software testing and deployment strategies in support of both physical and virtual desktop computers.  This position is responsible for telephone support as well as remote control support.  The IT Technician role is also responsible for desktop security including patch management.  

This role would have the below Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operation of stable desktop computer environment in support of call center operations.
  • Ensure helpdesk work is done within established SLA's utilizing helpdesk software
  • Ensure inventory is maintained accurately.
  • Perform daily moves/adds/changes of stations and network users
  • Manage deployment infrastructure with input from Systems Administrators.
  • Troubleshoot workstation and network issues with other IT staff as necessary.
  • Work closely with the Systems Administrators to support their initiatives.
  • Basic voice and data cabling methods and practices
  • Basic telephony support as required
  • Level 2 support for Help Desk operations
  • Test new software and strategize deployments with Systems Administrators
  • Time tracking and ticket management.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

  • 3-5 Years experience or combination of education and experience.
  • MSCE, MCSA, MCP or CCNA certifications would be an asset.
  • The incumbent must be able to thrive in a fast paced, results orientated environment;
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time and travel internationally to Canada

This position is a 24-hour support in an on-call rotation.  This position does require minimum travel between the United States and Canada.
